A few years ago I was inspired by the lyrics of this song by the iconic David Kramer. The pictures it conjured up, of a gothic Karoo Pied Piper, stayed with me and in 2021 I finally had some time to draw the comic. Mr. Kramer graciously agreed to the use of his lyrics as part of the comic narrative and also made an animated music video for his song on Youtube, using the illustrations.
